Performing Arts Academy - Mission Statement
Establishing the Polestar Performing Arts Academy has been the first order of business for Polestar. The Academy will involve local youth in inspiring youth theater productions, and include a touring company that will be providing community outreach performances at local schools and in the broader community. The mission of the Polestar Performing Arts Academy is to provide students a developmental platform to learn and explore the creative aspects of the performing arts while growing into young adults. Its programs are designed to teach students the value of communication, leadership, and integrity while learning the career skills of the arts. The Performing Arts Academy will provide students with skills training and many performance opportunities in the areas of drama and musical theater, voice and instrumental music, and dance and movement.
